This WV Medicaid program assists eligible members to perform activities of daily living in their homes. Assists with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, nutrition, light housekeeping, and health-related tasks.
Members can receive the care and support they need in their homes provided by an eligible family member. Family members can earn compensation as Family Caregivers providing direct care and support services to loved ones.
This program provides participants with care in the home for those who have the same needs as someone living in a nursing home. Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, nutritional support, and environmental maintenance.
Clients may receive an extended amount of service hours based on his or her individual needs.
Members who receive a WV Medicaid Waiver service may be eligible to receive additional services for unmet direct support need through the Personal Care Program.
Services from our direct care staff can be provided 7 days a week during mornings, afternoons, and evenings to ensure each client receives assistance based on his or her personal needs.
